Long awaited post! I’m gonna summarize this 10 days trip briefly and it will be in a few parts. It was a really memorable trip with awesome friends! I wonder when will be the next time we get to travel altogether again. Army life awaits and I’m not exactly looking forward to it yet! Okay here goes…
Day #01
Everyone of us gathered at the airport around 10+am to have quick breakfast at Budget Terminal before our check-in time. We were all hyped up and ready to fly like a G6. Phuket Phuket here we come! The moment we checked in, the guys went to buy their Lucky Strike cigs while the rest shopped around the stores inside. And we camwhored till our boarding time!

These are my roomies in Phuket! They made the stay so much more fun and unforgettable.
Oh yeah, we stayed at Loveli Guesthouse in Phuket. They provide such good service and is in good location. Near Junceylon and Robinsons if you want to shop, there’s also this night market that sells delicious food! I remember taking some photos, will post them up in the next post(s). 7-11, laundry shop, internet cafe and a travel agency are all easily accessible by foot. Highly recommended guesthouse, if you ask me!

Champion Seafood, as recommended by Andrew, the owner of the guest house. The food servings are all huge and obviously filling. But wasn’t as good as we expected. Co-Coa-Nut is much better! But still, the seafood there in Thailand is definitely much better than SG’s! Look at our satisfied faces!

We caught a great view of a BIG RAINBOW over there before the food came. As the saying goes, the rainbow after the rain. Indeed, there was a rain before we went out for dinner!

After dinner, we went to watch a soccer match at some bar along Bangla Road. Then we decided to go experience something new. Not anything new for me though.
We went to watch Thai Girl show as it was the first-time experience for some of us. They were pretty amazed by what the performers could do with their… y’know, their “downstairs”.
Then all of us decided to club @ Seduction since it was just nearby. Didn’t party till very late as we had to wake up really early the next day for activities.
Day #02
Woke up around 7am to prepare for the day tour. The ATV (All-Terrain-Vehicle), followed by Elephant trekking and lastly White Water Rafting. The travelling time that day was very long as the places are all pretty far and located at different places.

Getting ready for a race!

For me, it was a thrilling and near-death experience for me in ATV. My vehicle lost control and went downslope and I actually bounced out from the vehicle by the impact. I knew I had to jump if not I could suffer serious injuries or even die. Luckily only a minor sprain and superficial injuries! But I’m glad everyone had fun and were safe. Haha!

Outside the Monkey Cave. We prayed there and hanged around before we left for another place. I prayed for safety because I was already injured on the 2nd day!

We arrived at the Elephant Trekking place. I suppose it’s our first time experiencing such closeness with elephants. All of them are HUGE. Even their poo. -.- It was basically sightseeing on an elephant around. You will get the feeling that you will fall anytime every now and then.

After the elephant trekking, we went to another place to have our lunch by a river. The guide then brought us to a waterfall to relax and swim around. Sadly, no photos were taken for our rafting as it was a water sport. Only took a post water rafting photo! My team (KM, ZJ & Law) was in the lead, but we got stuck at some points and the two guides were having some internal conflicts among themselves. In the end, we became the last. Haha, but still the process was fun! I really love the ATV and Water Rafting activities.
We all K.O ed on a 2hour’s ride back to the guest house… but the guys woke up and also disturbed YL towards the end of the journey. Poor thing. But it’s all for fun!
Okay I’m getting tired now…Stay tuned for the next post(s)!
